  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 Italian hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sauté until soft.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the hoagie rolls on a baking sheet. Fill each roll with the beef mixture, then top with slices of provolone cheese.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and serve hot.
