  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add in melted butter, eggs, and spices, mixing well.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, kneading until the dough is smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll into logs, slice, and place in a baking dish.
  7. Let rolls rise for another 30 minutes before baking.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
