Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake

A delightful twist on sushi that the whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sushi rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 3 sheets nori, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse sushi rice until the water runs clear, combine with salt and water, and cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix cooked salmon with mayonnaise, Sriracha, and green onions.
  4. Spread the cooked rice in a baking dish, then layer the salmon mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle nori pieces over the salmon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Sriracha.
  • Can be served with soy sauce for dipping.
