- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
