Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

A delicious take on a classic dish, combining the rich flavors of Philly cheesesteak with the comfort of meatloaf.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup finely chopped bell peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onions, bell peppers, garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
  5. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra cheesiness, top with additional provolone during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  • Serve with a side of fries or a fresh salad.
