  • 2 cups mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear it in olive oil until browned.
  3. In a skillet, sauté mushrooms and garlic until the moisture evaporates and they turn golden.
  4. Spread the Dijon mustard over the beef and allow it to cool.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of the mushroom mixture on each square, followed by a piece of beef.
  7. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal with beaten egg.
  8. Brush the tops with more egg wash.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.
