Outback Potato Soup

A creamy and delicious potato soup made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  2. Add the diced turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until browned.
  3. Stir in the potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Use a potato masher to mash some of the potatoes for a creamy texture.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot.
