  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with nuts if using.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set and golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter bake, increase the brown sugar to taste.
