  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce and brown sugar until combined.
  3. In another bowl, coat the sliced beef with cornstarch.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Add beef and cook until browned.
  6. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in the soy sauce mixture and stir well.
  8. Add green onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For best results, slice the beef while slightly frozen.
  • You can add more vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
