A delicious twist on classic pizza featuring zesty lemon flavors.

  • 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese over the dough, followed by mozzarella cheese.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice over the cheese and sprinkle lemon zest.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and top with fresh basil.
  8. Slice and serve hot.
