  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cucumber, diced

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat and add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir well.
  3. Cook for another 5 minutes until fully combined and heated through.
  4. Serve over cooked rice and top with green onions, sesame seeds, and cucumber.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add gochujang to the beef mixture.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled for meal prep.
