  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 8 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the challah into thick slices and arrange in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the mixture over the bread, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
