Holiday Eggnog French Toast

  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggnog, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  3. Dunk each slice of bread into the eggnog mixture, soaking both sides.
  4. Cook each slice on the skillet until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
