High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

A deliciously healthy dish featuring high-protein honey garlic shrimp and crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon and drain excess fat, leaving a small amount in the skillet.
  3. Add olive oil and honey to the skillet, then stir in soy sauce and minced garlic.
  4. Increase heat and add shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink.
  5. Finish by adding bacon and sesame oil, and stir well.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, feel free to add red pepper flakes.
  • Serve over rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
