- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, grated carrots, applesauce, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
