Ground Turkey Rice

An easy and delicious ground turkey rice bowl that’s healthy and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, ground ginger, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a separate pot, bring chicken broth to a boil and add jasmine rice.
  6. Cover and simmer for 18 minutes, or until rice is fluffy.
  7. Mix the cooked rice with the turkey mixture and add mixed vegetables.
  8. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • This dish is versatile; feel free to add any other vegetables you like.
  • For extra flavor, add some chili flakes or hot sauce.
