  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil, onions, and bell peppers; sauté until tender.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the cooked turkey bacon on top of the beef mixture, then layer provolone cheese over it.
  5. Cover the skillet and let cook for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Divide the mixture among hoagie rolls and serve immediately.
