  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Split the hoagie rolls and fill with the beef mixture, topping with the crispy turkey bacon and provolone cheese.
  5. Broil in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
