  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add olive oil, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces, rolling each into a knot shape.
  7. Place knots on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Mix garlic, parsley, and olive oil. Brush over the knots.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
