- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat from the beef.
- Add rice, beef broth, French onion soup, and spices to the skillet.
- Mix well and bring to a boil.
- Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, uncover, and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Notes
