French Onion Braised Chuck Roast

  • 4 large onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large, oven-safe pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper, then sear it on all sides until browned.
  4. Remove the roast and add sliced onions to the pot, cooking until caramelized.
