Easy Cheeseburger Soup

This easy cheeseburger soup combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a creamy, comforting soup served with crispy turkey bacon!

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 pieces turkey bacon
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add ground turkey to the pot and cook until browned.
  3. Add onions, garlic, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in milk, Worcestershire sauce, and dried basil.
  6. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with bacon bits.
