  • 1 pound beef, cubed
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups onions, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  2. Remove the bacon, leaving the fat, and add the beef. Brown the beef on all sides.
  3. Add the onions, garlic, and mushrooms to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in the paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer for 1 hour, until beef is tender.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and let cook for another 10 minutes.
  7. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve hot.
