Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

A creamy and flavorful dish combining chicken and turkey bacon, perfect for a cozy dinner.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Add onions and garlic, sautéing until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning, cooking for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, add the Parmesan cheese, and stir until melted.
  6. Combine the pasta with the sauce, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
