- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, half the ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella cheese, and another layer of meat sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and remaining mozzarella on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding spinach or other vegetables to the layers.
- Let the lasagna sit for a bit after baking for better serving.
