  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, and bourbon. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Let the pie cool completely before serving.
  6. If desired, sprinkle sugar on top and use a kitchen torch to create a brûlée crust.
